Welcome to the Pagham and District Residents’ Association (PDRA) website. \u00a0We hope that you will find this site useful and informative about the events happening in Pagham.<\/p>\n
The PDRA has been actively serving its members in Pagham and the surrounding area since 1964. \u00a0In 1971 we started operating a limited minibus service to members with a vehicle loaned from Chichester Urban District Council. \u00a0The service was for those who found it difficult to get to a bus stop and who required a door-to-door service. \u00a0Over 50 years on, this service is more active than ever. \u00a0The bus is out every day and sometimes at the weekend.<\/p>\n
Our 2024 registered, minibus currently operates weekly trips to Bognor Regis town centre, Tesco, shops in and around the Shripney Retail Park area and the M&S Foodhall at Portfield in Chichester.<\/p>\n
Separate from shopping, on Monday’s we take a weekly trip to the swimming pool at Felpham. \u00a0There is a twice a month visit to Pagham Village Hall for our ever-popular Coffee mornings and finally, once a month, the Ladies Supper Evening group venture out to a local restaurant.<\/p>\n
We also support local groups with twice a month trips to Pagham Village Hall for the Chestnuts group and twice a month for the Pagham Lunch Club.<\/p>\n
Our joint venture with the Chichester Festival Theatre, the Theatre Bus, offers members a free door to door service to the Festival or Minerva Theatres for either the matinee or evening performances.<\/p>\n
In 2025, we carried over 3,190 members to shopping, coffee mornings and other trips on our minibus and 158 members on coach outings.\u00a0 \u00a0A total of 2,329 members enjoyed the events we promoted.\u00a0 These are figures we are really proud of.<\/p>\n

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Our minibus works hard all week taking members shopping thanks to our amazing volunteer drivers and helpers. We try to provide helpers on these trips to assist passengers with their purchases, etc. and we are looking to add to our team.
