Afternoon tea is a long-running British tradition, dating back to the early 18th century when it was used to bridge the gap between lunch and dinner.  Today the custom remains extremely popular, enacted in tea rooms, hotels and households across the country

Dainty finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jam, tasty sweet treats and a choice of tea or coffee.

The canal is a beautiful retreat and you can enjoy the reflections on the water with unique views of the Cathedral and South Downs as you glide past wild flowers and reed beds. Watch out for herons and kingfishers in their natural habitat.

The boat, Richmond, has access and room for 2 people in wheelchairs but if this facility is required, it must be notified at time of booking.  There is also a lift for those who may not be able to manage steps.

The cruise lasts approximately 2 hours.
