DENMANS GARDENS and TEA ROOM
SUNDAY, 19 APRIL 2020
Pick-ups start at 1.00pm and will leave Fontwell at 4:00pm
The former home and garden of the late John Brooks MBE, one of Britain’s most influential landscape designers, Denmans Gardens features dry river beds, gravel gardens, a walled garden, conservatory and unusual plants from around the world. The contemporary 4-acre garden was converted from market garden to ornamental garden by plants woman Joyce Robinson.
Visitors can stroll through the garden in less than an hour but may stay longer to linger on the meandering shingle paths or just sit on a secluded bench. The garden has year-round interest and colour so will differ with the seasons.
There is also the opportunity to enjoy a variety of refreshments from a cup of tea to a full meal in the delightful Tea Room, browse in the stylish gift shop or in the plant centre with its unusual plants
To book, telephone Janet on 697593 or see her at a coffee morning
